2. Read the Beowulf introduction in your textbook on pg. 18-19. Be prepared to discuss the intro before we start reading on Tuesday.
3. Beowulf vocabulary: Write the definition in your own words and use the word in a sentence.

4. Complete the Kenning handout. Explain what the kennings mean and what literary devices they use. Create at least three of your own kennings.
