Continue writing your prompts on the writing prompt Google Doc. Do not share it with me again. Once is all you have to share it.

  • Take a look at my Beowulf Example Paper. Keep in mind that this is not a complete paper. I only have an introduction and the the first key point done along with the works cited page started. I would also write about his strength and ethics while including two outside sources. This paper would also have a conclusion.
  • Continue working on your Beowulf research paper. You should be finished with your research and started on the actual paper. Take a look at my example introduction if you need to. If you feel stuck come and see me.
  • Make sure you share your Beowulf Google Doc with me ONE TIME. I will be giving you feedback as you are working on it.

  • Today we talked about the comparative essay that we wrote the final two days before fall break. If you didn't turn it in it is due by the end of today or it will go in the grade book as a zero. Remember that it is counted the same as a test.
  • I briefly went over the Beowulf Research Paper that we are starting. Today we will be looking at how to format a paper for MLA style. The Purdue OWL website is the best source for formatting and citing your paper correctly.
  • This is the MLA PowerPoint that I used during our discussion.
  • We started working on the MLA Practice Page at the end of class. Answer the questions on page one and then complete a works cited page using the sources on page two.
