  •  We discussed the five parts of a narrative: exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.You can look at the PowerPoint HERE. 
  • With a partner analyze "The Most Dangerous Game" and pull out the five parts of a narrative. Specifically note where the exposition ends and the rising action starts.

  • Then we discussed what makes a well developed character. This would include:
    • A physical description
    • Background
    • Personality
    • Values
    • How they interact with other characters
    • Attitude
  • We finished the class by thinking about what you will write your narrative about and begin developing our characters.
